This event celebrates the Research and Development phase of a collaboration between researchers at the University of Warwick and Coventry-based artists, during January to June 2024. They were commissioned to interpret and apply Acting on Climate’s pedagogic practices to their own unique artistic contexts (performance poetry and spoken word, theatre, circus and clowning, and dance and parkour). These artists will share their unique perspectives and reflections about how the arts might be a catalyst for climate awareness and activism with young people.
To conclude the symposium, Professor Kathleen Gallagher will provide a response, offering insights and reflections on the discussions and presentations throughout the day.
