In the midst of global challenges like climate change, the power of art to inspire action and ignite change shines brightly.

Recently, we had the privilege of collaborating with two remarkable artist groups, John Bernard’s spoken word poets and Ascension’s dancers, to film their artistic outcomes as part of our Artist Network project.

The young people’s dedication and creativity in addressing climate change through their artistic expressions left us deeply inspired.

By engaging young people in artistic expression, we not only raised awareness about climate change but also fostered a sense of empowerment and agency. Through their art, these young artists became advocates for a better future.

Filming was expertly done by Luke Newbold of Lens Change Ltd, who skillfully captured the performances.

As we look ahead to the AOC Symposium on June 3rd, 2024, we are filled with excitement to share the outcomes of this collaboration with a wider audience. It’s an opportunity to celebrate the power of art to drive social and environmental change and to inspire others to take action in their own communities.
